> **Pros**: Our organization operates nearly a dozen main social handles and multiple sub-brands, Sprout Social has made it incredibly easy to manage all of our social handles across several platforms. The reporting tools are top tier and it is incredibly simple to generate visually appealing reports, especially for paid campaigns. &#10;&#10;Having switched over from another provider the learning curve was quite simple as the user interface is intuitive. It won't take long to master Sprout Social.

> **Cons**: The only caveat with Sprout and other providers is that it can get quite expensive if you require several user licenses and have a large number of social handles. The features are worth the money, but it is important to consider how many user licenses you will need to adequately support your organization.

> Overall using Sprout has been a huge boost to our social strategy, both paid and organic. Being able to operate all of our social channels in one platform helps save time and allows for better collaboration across the social team. I would highly recommend using Sprout Social if you're looking for a new social media management tool.

> **Pros**: There really wasn't much to like. I was told to test this on behalf of a client, and I will be recommending future clients to pass on them. It's much harder to use than HootSuite and Buffer for managing social media. Then when it comes to social listening, it's very complex and not very helpful once it's setup properly either.

> **Cons**: They're trying to be an everything platform, and they're not especially great at anything. They're not the best at managing multiple channels or social listening. It's also expensive for being average at both of those core things.
> 
> They need to focus on being great at one thing instead of trying to do everything. It was quite hard to get anything done in Sprout Social, and when it was setup - the results were disappointing.

> **Pros**: The pros? I suppose the posting workflow is good, as good as other platforms that are 10% of the cost. A lot of the “features” that I was promised when they locked me into a year contract with high pressure sales ended up being features that either don’t work very well or are actually kept behind massive pay walls. You’ll have to remortgage your house to get the full functionality out of Sprout.

> **Cons**: Where do I even start. 1. To send approval requests to clients, you have to add them as an additional user… EVERY SINGLE additional user is a $499 PER MONTH. I was promised that external approved were free, so sending approval requests to clients would not cost extra, they never mentioned that you’re only allowed 3 external approved for THE ENTIRE ACCOUNT. They pressured me into signing a contract and sold me a bunch of lies. &#10;&#10;I don’t even find the platform very intuitive. Not only that I find the features are lackluster, I have used other platforms that are a fraction of the cost with a more intuitive UI and pretty much the same features.

> If you’re an agency that is looking to destroy your bottom line, pass on expensive unnecessary costs to your clients and be locked in to a service that cares about nothing except squeezing every dime out of your business, Sprout Social is definitely the social media management platform for you\!
