There would be intermittent blue screens whenever you plugged in a USB external drive while it was doing its 30–60-minute backup. With Macrium Reflect there has never been an issue with reliability of backups. It has improved from version 7 to the recent release of X in speed of backup to the point I can backup and verify a 100 gb C drive in less than 5 minutes (using USB4). It can restore your system, from scratch, in just a few minutes more. It can create a Windows PE bootable USB to restore, backup or fix boot problems with Windows > > **Cons**: Paramount Software has instituted, like many software vendors, a yearly licensing fee which has its quirks, and the pressure will be on them to either develop another product or make it worth the user's money to pay yearly in order to upgrade with each release. Spent nearly 2 days-researching, reading , watching every possible scenario that would cause this particular error. Used every method to attempt to remediate my situation. I even used a 3rd party software(pro version). No errors could be found on the drive....yet I kept getting an error 9. So......What am I missing ? here's the kicker guys........... I finally gave up and tried a different cloning software. And guess what........ It went without a hitch. Cloned on the first attempt. So.... I ask again.....
