A system that produces results
Comments: For us it is a lot about the students, to give them a chance to do better on their written exams. This by using the computer which most of them do during lectures and will do once they leave the university. There are huge savings when it comes to administration, paper consumption and the security that the students' work is "safe" and cannot be misplaced on its journey from exam hall, to department, to teacher, from teacher and to student.
Pros:
The system is very straightforward and easy to use. For us the time to administer exams has been reduced significantly. The student interface is clean, modern and can manage resources such as web sites and very large PDF files without impacting performance. The system is robust, students get a clear indication that their work is continuously saved. The grading process supports our teachers in marking and providing feedback to the students. Multiple teachers can mark the responses and the marks and comments are shown in real time. The integration to the student registry system manages access to the exam for the registered students and reporting of results, it saves a lot of manual work and is also of better quality.
Cons:
We would like to have functionality to better support STEM exams. I would like to see a module/functionality to analyze exam results e.g. which questions did the students fail/do too good on, analyze which responses they picked for MCQ. In addition, it would be interesting with a functionality for teachers to analyze their work, to make sure two similar responses (mostly essay) are rewarded with the same marks/grades,

H Linda, We're really grateful for your review - thanks so much for taking the time to do that :) Thanks, Natalia / Inspera
Excellent support
Comments: Content.
Pros:
Possibilities to create different sorts of tests and exams and that you can adapt the form of testing to what you are currently working with in the course.
Cons:
Commenting sections (when students write essays). I believe it needs improvement, possibilities to color code when commenting, the function has lots of bugs from time to time. Make the whole section more simple to use but more fierce :)

Hello Gordana - Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated! Natalia/Inspera Assessment
Terrible product - avoid
Comments: terrible, see above
Pros:
Students apparantly like some features of the interface
Cons:
I use Inspera for uploading and executing exams at university, both at the undergraduate and the graduate level. Inspera is a very "modern" software with endless number of features and a very "open" interface (minimal no of pull-downs). As a result Inspera scores incredibly low on user friendliness. Even the simplest exam upload ends up in hours of frustration. This is a REALLY SHITTY product, I would recommend all professors to avoid it!
Inspera for Online University Exams
Comments: We deliver online assessments for undergraduates, graduate students and MSc students. Inspera has the flexibility to deliver a variety of questions types, and provide the level of analysis of the assessments and the individual questions that are a vital part of our courses
Pros:
The web delivery of this product is very smooth, and the team who created the software are very responsive whenever there are problems - not that there are many problems! It also has a fairly low learning curve - which means that some of our academics have taken to uploading their own questions, which is a huge improvement on the complications of our previous system.
Cons:
There are a few minor niggles - some elements that I would like to customise are fixed ((e.g. one needs to turn off question randomisation for every question; it would be great to have the option to switch between randomising or not a series of questions. I'd also like a longer form for question titles - but these are minor niggles!

A Help in Teaching og Great Value
Comments: A perfect assistance to normal work. Very handy and functional.
Pros:
The possibility to plan work. To get it corrected. To get rid of net. When I correct myself a professional way to do it.
Cons:
Sometimes it is hard to understand why things are not function.

Cumbersome, inaccurate & poor user interface
Comments: Wastes a lot of time. This is simply a poorly designed product that takes the focus away from the academic tasks.
Pros:
digital exam tool, otherwise not much...
Cons:
Messy, chaotic, cumbersome user-interface and inaccurate terminology & communication.
