Kodekloud is the best platform for Devops Hands-on

From college 4th yr ,i am trying to learn devops n kodekloud from then has supported me alot.
Like intoduction to devops world was given to me by KODEKLOUD only.
Before that in college i was like a aimless ship sailing with no purpose just had a mindset of every1 was learning so i was learning the boring college curriculum.web development n all i was not getting a inner kick but when i explored devops through kodekloud, devops became my passion n goal in life. I got placed in dxc n was pushed to mainframe domain but Kodekloud is the only reason of my hope of getting into my dream job of devops engineer. If it not existed i would have neither knew abt devops nor had the courage to change domain while being in mainframe here.

Pros:

Best courses organized properly with content in order and after that the labs are great for hands on .The one who is beginning his devops journey and also usually people try to switch from legacy domain or currently working at some place who dont have much time . Kodekloud is the biggest solution for them .Nothing in market till now exists like this . Kodekloud's Engineer program is also the best as it gives a pure vibe of working in a company. They have put on so much efforts in like tailoring tasks in such a way that you just need to go there n practice questions solve the question according to scenario and you will climb the job ladder. This is again equivalent to real world experience working in a company which freshers or people working in domain can never get untill n unless they work in devops in real company. Thirdly , the option of courses there are wide range of courses of devops tools they r continuousli improving the old courses as well as adding new courses be it on cloud anything related to devops n cloud. There r videos of all tools n all cloud providers also fourthly, for beginners they have a section in which according to the domain role which courses we need to focus more n follow them as we progress.

Cons:

Some minor UI features like jumping from one video in a course to another is not easy bit laggy. And there no option to directly search for a course to start learning we have to either see or find in the home page or go the domain related pathway to find that course. But its small issue in comparision to the big problem which they are solving.

Comments: It was great at the beginning but lately the labs are really slow to load, just gave up on the waiting. I have been frustrated lately and using it less and less.
The KodeKloud lab are the big competitive advantage with the competition, if that edge is lost, no point on investing in kodekloud

Pros:

Labs and the learn by doing mantra. The stories behind the teaching that make the learning more fun

Cons:

The labs experience lately, user experience and responsiveness of the website

Comments: I recommend to all my friends and mates, is really a good platform

I love the self learning, I’ve used other platforms without get an engagement, however this platform got catch me and I love study every weeks

1. new portal corses are using light blue color fonts which is annoying when you use these courses at night in white background screen.

Difference between kodekloud and plural.

Comments: Kodekloud has been a tremendous blessing to my career when it comes to devOps. I never hard a broad understanding when I use YouTube for learning or other resources but when I purchased kodekloud, I realized that kodekloud teach was different and inline on what I really wanted as a DevOps Engineer.

Pros:

What I really like about kodekloud is how well their engineer where able to explain the process in details.

Cons:

What I like most is the practical session.

My review about KodeKloud

Comments: Overall I am satisfied, especially with Kubernetes and Linux part. Regarding Azure and AWS I am kind of disappointed.
Need lot's of labs for each module, topics.

Pros:

I liked the CKA and Linux courses because there were many labs in it, which is very important

Cons:

Azure courses. There are no labs in there just quizzes. AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification course- I see there is just one lab in each section.

My Current Experience with KodeKloud

Comments: Incredibly Rewarding thus far!
Started learning with KodeKloud in March 2023 when I had no idea what things like Kubernetes, S3 Buckets, etc were.
Today, I am Technical Lead Enterprise Cloud Systems Operations for a Financial IT Service Provider with footprints across 35 countries in Africa.
Now, I am able to interact confidently with other consultants on cloud terms and I do not look over my shoulder anymore..
What is more...I am still learning and not done yet!

Pros:

1. Course Modules and Contents are professionally structured and industry-driven. 2. Content Delivery is top-notch! 3. Lecturers and Instructors are learned; technically sound and industry experienced. 4. Pricing is considerably moderate; the pricing models and modes of payment are flexibly good. 5. You have access to a plethora of courses once paid and you have the opportunity to learn from the best instructors available. 6. A great learning community, where ideas are shared and concepts interrogated, all in a bit to enhance one's knowledge. 7. Playgrounds are awesome! KodeKloud turns the basic to a Pro! Before I had no idea about Kubernetes, today I handle production issues with a lot of confidence.!

Cons:

1. I would like to see my account dashboard without necessarily leaving a current learning session. 2. I would like to see KodeKloud becoming a certified centre for taking Certificate Exams, especially for Kubernetes, OpenShift, Azure and AWS 3. I would like to see more course on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle WebLogic, Azure Kubernetes; full courses on Prometheus and Grafana

Comments: Well, I guess Kodekloud has become the number one platform when it comes to DevOps training. I don't think I have ever seen any other product mentioned as often as KodeKloud. Believe it or not, I have seen so many people obtaining their Kubernetes certifications due to their training (me included). The mentions about KodeKloud and [sensitive content hidden]
are almost daily on my LinkedIn feed :)

Pros:

Certification based training, their regime strictly follows the most important of Linux Foundation's certifications. What I particularly like is that they add more material/courses on the cloud category. Again, because of their lab environment I was able to pass 4 LF certifications (CKA/CKAD/KCNA and LFCS). That's hands on for you! Furthermore, their Slack community rocks. Thank you [sensitive content hidden] and everyone else for sharing your knowledge and sharing your thoughts. They're invaluable!

Cons:

The material in some courses may take some time to get refreshed.

Best Platform for DevOps cert

Pros:

Courses are well made and prepare you for the certifications

Cons:

Sometimes the labs are not stable is you don't have good connection

Evaluation of KodeKloud for newer SREs

Comments: I have been evaluating this as another training layer for more junior SRE and Ops engineers. This would be included in the training regiment that already includes formal courses, videos, and books. I have found it to be very valuable, especially at getting solid entry-level understanding of many technologies and solutions in a short period of time.

Pros:

I find the Labs to be very useful at providing an environment where you may experiment with how to solve a challenge. The fact that it is not just a multiple choice quiz or a controlled UI, means you can play and even break the lab, then just start over. This allows for creative learning paths that others do not.

Cons:

The level of training before going into the Labs is very light. There is a tendency to skim over topics, or just show you "how" to do a thing, without provided the context or "why" you do a thing. This is similar to copying code from the web and using it in a function. It works, and you can re-use it, but you don't gain a deeper understanding of why it works. This makes troubleshooting when it breaks much more challenging.

Absolutely One stop shop for all DevOps related courses

Pros:

What I liked most about KodeKloud is the hands-on, interactive learning experience it offers. Additionally, there were occasional technical issues with the lab environments, such as slow loading times or glitches, which disrupted the learning experience. Despite these minor setbacks, the overall value and quality of the training are still very high.

Comments: Overall it is a good and user friendly platform for a freshers and other level people. For me it helps me to learn Terraform and AWS also it helps me to learn how go through a proper way to improve my skills.

Limitation of some lab and sandbox like we can only access some selective services in AWS like using AWS free tire account. They need to add more services in sandbox in AWS.

Comments: The learning journey with kodekloud is awesome and I find it very helpful. Because of Kodekloud I was able to start my career without any hassles

It has very good set of technologies and tools which helps learners to start their learning journey right from the day one without no involvement in setting up the environment manually.

Cons:

Their main focus is only on DevOps tools, I wish that they should roll-out new course on different tools which enhances the employees productivity in the domains of SRE and Platform Engineering and Linux Administration too.

It is a fairly modern platform that has improved communication, bringing a good experience. Learning goes hand in hand with practice, making learning effective.

There is some content that is quite outdated and the courses reuse content from other courses and put them together, they don't add much value per course
