Big Road Logging App

Comments: Accurate logs that as a Transport Manager allows detailed tracking of the drivers day, from inspection to finish of driving day.

Pros:

This is an easy to use piece of software that allows Dispatch and drivers to maintain accurate daily logs, giving piece of mind when on the road should you be stopped for a log check

Cons:

Awesome Product

Comments: Overall experience was not great, it ended up being a lot more expensive and offered a lot less than most ELD's out there now. They will take your money and are dishonest in how they work with their husbands.

Pros:

It was somewhat easy to use. Too simple in my opinion and not enough features.

Cons:

Constant glitches, would not work until updates were installed, had to provide your own cellular service. You have to pay for each device and then each user, you don't keep the devise, you rent it so over two years each unit will cost about $360. Customer service was not great, difficult to reach anyone. I spoke with my account rep when we cancelled and they told us that we would get an extension on the dash link returns, the next day they fraudulently charge me over $6000 for these dash-links when I have already paid $8000 for them over 2 years. Nobody will call you back when they took your money.

Inexpensive option for driver logs

Pros:

Big Road is easy to install. Our drivers find it to be user friendly. It is very affordable though the app is simple. It doesn't have a ton of extra features but it keeps us in compliance. Drivers can edit their logs and view hours. The GPS tracking is one of the most important features. It is accurate and easy to decipher.

Cons:

This would not be a good option if you require a full-featured telematics solution for your company.

BigRoad saves our company time and money

Comments: This service saves us time and money. Reports print out clean and neat. Being able to utilize oilfield waiting time has saved us tons of money $$$

Pros:

the best is the use of oilfield waiting time. With other services this isn't a option.

Cons:

i wish the app would be fully administrative control like the website

Terrible Customer Service

Comments: The first review I wrote I gave this app one star for poor performance. The performance has improved over the last two years, but the customer service is TERRIBLE. I've been using BigRoad in some of my trucks and Omnitracs QualComm in others and decided to move more of my fleet to BigRoad because Omnitracs has been horrible since the move to ELD from AOBRD. I have two drivers that I wanted to switch over to BigRoad and both were going to be home for a week at the beginning of the year. I called BigRoad on December 30th and requested the hardware be sent out to the two drivers. It's now January 7th and BigRoad cannot confirm that the hardware has even been shipped. My drivers need to be on the road in two more days and as of right now, I have no idea whether or not they are going to have an ELD device when they have to hit the road. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!

Big Road Sucks

Comments: None, ive lost a lot of time using this and staying in compliance. Hrs are wasted in all areas especially IFTA. Jump off a 10 story building first, unless you enjoy doing extra work for no pay.

Pros:

There is nothing to like. It loads slow. You cant see previous logs without going to the web site. All the multiple pages of help and study, should be your first indication that this is a full time job that you dont need.

Cons:

It doesnt work well for IFTA. It doesnt shut off when stopped, so logs always have to be corrected. To keep track of milage ,odometer, DVIR is nessasary. More hrs. of frustration. Buy GeoTab instead.

Needs improvement

Long wait for customer service usually wait is 30-1 hour long sometimes more

Comments: Wish drivers did not have to use such devices but it is what it is.

Pros:

Ease of use and functionality. Hooks up real quick and goes online just as fast. Able to change drivers on the go. Good Product

Cons:

I really can not say anything bad about Big Road.

Great product

Pros:

Easy to get set up and ready to go. Even if you forget it holds info for you to update later

Cons:

Didn't like it locked out when in motion so if a passenger is with they can't update for you.
