About ServiceTitan
ServiceTitan is the leading software solution that's changing the way residential and commercial plumbing shops do business.
The interface is very user friendly, properly labeled, and easy on the eyes. There isn't a lot of unnecessary buttons or icons that can confuse, which would make learning it that much harder.
It has been a while since we used this software so I don't know if this has changed, but at the time this was very frustrating.

An investment, but it really does what they say they will
Comments: Overall our experience has been a good one, don't get me wrong we've had to make some noise to get some bugs fixed and at times train there own people in support on how to do their job but compared to the other many, many hvac software companies out there, no one compares in my opinion.
Pros:
all of the capabilities to run an hvac business
Cons:
the cost, and the additional cost for "pro" products, upon sign up we were told that Everything was included and then they started coming out with the pro products that are an additional fee, and these fee's are not cheap.

Reasons for Choosing ServiceTitan: It had all of the functions needed to run and manage an hvac company in one software, others said they could do all of the things we needed and wanted but they could not and/or the others were so extremely difficult to navigate and use (service ceo)

ServiceTitan - buyers beware!
Comments: Nightmare. Had to cancel my contract and fight with them to cancel it.
Pros:
None. The platform was too complex, the sales pitch was good, but what you actually sign the contract for is less than the add-on costs for each module that they don't disclose on the front end.
Cons:
The introductory sales call provides pricing for the size of your business. Then, over the course of the 12-week onboarding program (overly time-consuming), they reveal that you will be paying (thousands) more for each add-on module (ie marketing, phone, etc.)
Alternatives Considered: FieldEdge and FieldPulse
Reasons for Choosing ServiceTitan: Thought we were ready to move to a full-service CRM/dispatch software.
Switched From: Dispatch
Reasons for Switching to ServiceTitan: It seemed like "the best" product at the time. FieldEdge did not allow for proper configuration for payment of subcontractors.

Service Titan has been great
Comments: Is by far the best software we have used, like any software it has it's glitches and limitations but just keeps getting better and better.
Pros:
The software itself is user-friendly and makes streamlining everyday processes very easy. Service Titan is forever evolving and improving, so it is nice to have software to grow with you.
Cons:
Because they are a continuously growing company, their employee turnover rate per position is pretty high, so it can be a little frustrating having to continuously work with new success managers. Support is not always the easiest to deal with as well. Also, yes the software is forever evolving, which is great, but we find it hard sometimes to be able to customize the software to fit every aspect of our business model and day to day operations.

Reasons for Choosing ServiceTitan: Servicom is what we used prior but was not on the list to select- it was not cloud based, it was just a basic booking software

Service Titan has changed our business
Comments: We have been using Service Titan since Late 2019 and it has completely changed how we run our business. We would not be where we are today without the amazing features of Service Titan, and it is great to know that these features are all backed by an amazing team for onboarding, ongoing success and they have programs to help educate you on the program to get the most value for your spending.
Pros:
Service Titan Consolidates so many aspects of running a business into one easy to use platform.
Cons:
Some updates and features are not available in Canada
Alternatives Considered: Jobber and Service Fusion
Reasons for Choosing ServiceTitan: Updates were infrequent and when they did happen it would cause a lot of problems. In addition to that the software was not cloud based at the time.
Switched From: The HindSite Solution
Reasons for Switching to ServiceTitan: Service Titan had all of the features that were most important to us including the ability to mass schedule appointments, process field payments and inventory tracking and management that would all also work with QuickBooks Desktop

Worth the cost!
Comments: My experience has been positive overall largely due to the fact that I learned alot about the software and attend trainings to further my understanding.
Pros:
I like that it changes with user feedback.
Cons:
The largest con for us is the price and learning curve for many of the modules. We had to dedicate a few individuals to champion the software and rollout larger initiatives and mass workflows. Some shops do not have those resources.
Alternatives Considered: Verizon Connect, FieldEdge and FieldEdge Flat Rate Mobile
Reasons for Choosing ServiceTitan: We wanted to have a streamlined product that was going to grow with us. We saw more changes the first 6 months with Service Titan than 2 years with Corrigo.
Switched From: Verizon Connect and Corrigo
Reasons for Switching to ServiceTitan: Over all options and a better experience on our sales call. It seemed almost too good to be true until we saw how much setup was required, haha.

Best Decision
Pros:
I love all the capabilities, support and recourses that Service Titan offers. I also really appreciate the fact that they listen to us, the customer, and implement our ideas and enhancements. The customer communications and online payments is something we lacked in our old software that has made our lives (and our customers lives) so much easier!
Cons:
I can't think of any real cons, if something isn't working right its usually user error or a bug that they fix quickly.
Alternatives Considered: Housecall Pro
Reasons for Choosing ServiceTitan: We were stagnate and couldn't grow our business with the the limitations and lack of features we had.
Switched From: FACS
Reasons for Switching to ServiceTitan: Housecall Pro just didn't have all the aspects we needed to run a residential and commercial service, install and new construction business.

Took the jump and never looked back!
Comments: It has been a true game changer. We experienced phenomal growth during our first two years. I don't credit Service Titan with bringing us the growyh opportunities, but Service Titan 100% allowed us to take on a much higher workload, streamloned business and allowed us to continue accepting more qork and new clients. Staying on top of the software is a full time job, the software just keeps getting better. Every quarter there are new process to devlop and new features of Service Titan that change the game, for the better. This might aound like a negative, but the customer support is great. I normally cam get answers in under 10 minutes. If there is something about the software that bothera you, Service Titan is probably working on a new update to resolve that pain point.
Pros:
Reporting makes KPIs so much easier. It is highly customizable, we are constantly finding new ways to use the software. It also encourages/forces techs to use proper work flow.
Cons:
The price point is high, so you have to really utilize the whole software. I would like the office accounts to have more abilities and that the program offered more tracking and KPIs for office staff.

The best CRM for the trades
Comments: Our overall experience with ServiceTitan has been really great! It is the best software by a long shot! It is pricey but you certainly get what you pay for.
Pros:
We love how easy ServiceTitan makes things on our customers. Automated text messages when a technician is on the way, ability to pay their invoice online, and fast online scheduling with real time availability makes us very simple to do business with!
Cons:
The implementation and setup is quite the process. New feature onboarding requires a lot of research and figuring out for yourself. ServiceTitan helps as much as they can but not having a dedicated account rep anymore makes this a little challenging.

Comments: Fantastic, would not want to return to previously used vendors.

Working with our Success Manager in bi-weekly meetings to improve how we use Titan
Cons:
Not much, they are great and always taking recommendations for improvements for any issues. We did prefer the old look as opposed to the new style of the website.

Service Titan is the best of both worlds!
Comments: So far Service Titan is what helps us run our business the most. Without it, we could still run, but it would be a ton more difficult to do so, considering it keeps us from having to use multiple services in its place.
Pros:
Service Titan makes it so you can have a ton of different functions tossed into one app, which is extremely useful, and handy when it comes to doing multiple things in a day. Its dispatching feature and customer feature is by far my personal favorite, as we are able to easily save a customers info into the software, and look back on their profile at any point for past jobs, invoices, estimates, equipment, etc. and just as easily dispatch out a technician to the job to work.
Cons:
Service Titan, as great as it is, is a beast, which makes it extremely difficult to get setup properly the right way at first. We have had to redo so many things due to unproper setup first or second time round, and even still to this day, our Service Titan isn't perfect or anywhere near it, but we are getting closer.

Service TItan - Windows to Mac for the HVAC world!
Comments: EXCELLENT customer service depending on your CSM. We have had several. Current is based out of ATL and they are amazing! Easy to use software, visual and self explanatory. Implementation was smooth but had its share of concerns. I would not import Memberships if I had the chance to do over. It would have been easier for manual import due to revenue recognition issues and membership reporting numbers being inaccurate due to inactive membership types (the imports). Overall great experience tho with the implementation team.
Pros:
Customer notifications that allowed our clients to see when a tech was in route and location of route. Customer service features, clean, easy to view board and job details can be as detailed or minimal as desired. Ease of function.
Cons:
Reporting software is slightly lacking. Mobile version is limited for techs on the field. Notifications for reminders are limited to one paragraph/set of content, not different based on business unit. Hardest part - we cannot sell equipment through the system due to the inability for AHRI Matchups.
Overly expensive
Pros:
The dispatch grid was pretty nice. Setting appointments from the call screen was easy enough.
Cons:
Just about everything else. The fact that service location setup was difficult. Didn't transfer well to Quickbooks. The payment processing feature - customers didn't like that and it took too long for deposits to be received into the receiving account. There was always changes being made to the field app that caused alot of heartburn for our technicians. The many modules were great for options, but it was hard to utilize all of them for a company of our size.

Comments: 4 STARS. I like working with Service Titan and Titan Advisor to improve our processes and learn how to use the software to the best of our ability
Pros:
I like that ST works on improving processes on a consistent basis. They cover all necessities and they take their users suggestions for improvements
Cons:
I want more ability to create complex reporting options. Also, there are many configurations that can make our lives easier that we don't find out about until we reach out for an issue that it can solve.

Comments: Excellent experience. Great product and great vision by the Exec team.
Pros:
I like that ST can be expanded depending on your needs. There are constantly new developments (add-ons) to an already industry leading software. My guess is that most companies aren't even scratching the surface for what ST can do, which is a mistake. Invest in this software and use it to scale your business.

Price increases but this is commonplace for tech

Comments: horrible, appalling and disgusting. Do not use this company. They put our company into bankruptcy.

Comments: I love it! I love the schedule reporting feature.

Service titan kicks BUTT
Comments: It has taken a great deal of stress off of my daily workload being able to utilize service titan.
Pros:
The daunting task of managing a fleet of Plumbers and Electricians becomes EFFORT-LESS when using servicetitan.
Cons:
When scheduling an appointment, it automatically sets it for the next business day. Which is far from a " Con " .. it is just tedious when scheduling multiple appointments, as you have to pay attention to detail to ensure the days are scheduling correctly.
First Roto-Rooter franchise!
Comments: We make better marketing decisions. We document our findings better via attachments of videos and images. Inventory replenishment is almost fully automated. We can cut back in office staff size as techs pull their own purchase orders and actually complete a meaningful portion of formerly back-office work in real time.Implementing any software program is going to be riddled with some issues and ST is no different. However, the scale points deeply towards growing our business with ST.
Pros:
Our marketing spend has really zeroed in on success and efficiency by simply using the standard features of ST. There are no more mysteries as to what works and what doesn’t.
Cons:
On boarding is still dicey. It takes too long and the support too short.
Office Manager
Comments: I don't have a lot of negative things to say about Service Titan, our company as a whole has seen improvements at all levels. We are very happy that we made the jump to Service Titan and look forward to the additional releases.
Pros:
We are a growing Plumbing & HVAC company and we were looking for solutions to be more in line with today's digital world. We love the call booking and dispatch notifications to customers. It allows customer's to know exactly when to expect their technician. Our CSR and Dispatch love the incoming call information for existing customer's that pre-populates for them, it allows us to give a personal touch when answering the phone and gives the customer a great experience. Our Service Manager loves the Dashboard and reporting, it allows him to see exactly where the technician's are at throughout the month and allows him to provide coaching when needed to help his teams reach goals. We recently starting using the timesheets within Service Titan as well - this has allowed us to manage our technician's time with ease and the technician's no longer have to try to remember where they were and at what time. There are so many features and we love the fact that Service Titan listens to their Customers/Users and are always working to improve their existing features and adding more features to make their user experience exceptional.
Cons:
Follow-Up Section and Memberships need updating, but Service Titan has listened to their users are in the process of providing updates to these features. Payroll/Timesheets needs to be more versitle and needs customization, but again Service Titan is working on this as well.

Easiest software to use on the market!
Comments: Service Titan changed the way we did business. We moved from a time and material situation to flat rate pricing and the software made that move incredibly easy.
Pros:
The ease of use was the most important feature in implementing a new software program in our business. All of the staff were easily able to maneuver their way around the software after just a day of training.
Cons:
My only complaint is that it is on the pricier side. However I do believe that you get what you pay for and the features of this software are incredible.
