It works absolutely well

Comments: It's a great tool for motel and hotel reservations. I highly suggest trying it.

Pros:

I used this plugin on a website I designed for a client for his motel business in Yaoundé. His idea was to initiate online room reservations for footballers and supporters during the last African Cup of Nations in 2022.MotoPress has been highly useful and effective in serving this purpose. I personally qualify it as being simple to set up and effective when it comes to reservation management.It supports easy booking management, is highly customizable, and supports a variety of online payment options (even some local payments that actively operate in Cameroon), it has multicurrency support, and Channel Manager Integration which enables me to easily synchronize the available rooms across multiple online travel agencies and other booking platforms.

Cons:

There are also some features that need to be improved.Even though I was able to fulfill my client's needs, however, I realized that MotoPress is limited in Advanced Features and Integrations it's extremely hard to accurately have a clear tracking of the absolute revenue system as there is not enough data that could potentially serve for easy tracking.The customer support is not adequate like most services I've been using. I will always recommend businesses with virtual products to integrate live support to their websites -It's not a big deal. It's what businesses are currently evolving into. Clients will always need help ( especially with software products) - So the company should consider this option.

Overall happy with Motopress Hotels

Comments: We have been using Motopress Hotels for club members to book vessels for about 18 months. It's been been a huge improvement over our previous booking system,

Pros:

Cost effect and reliable booking system with reasonably good customization.

Cons:

Automated email notifications require a plugin. The Notifier Plugin works reliably but it lacks the ability to set an exact time for sending scheduled emails to guests. .

Just don´t - its rubbish

Comments: I am very disappointed in myself for not identifying that this product was so rubbish before making the purchase. There is no refund policy, which is rather disappointing. I encourage anyone considering a purchase to try setting the plugin up in a real-world situation. Here are a few things that I really was amazed at how poor this product is:Setting prices: Instead of the normal of a simple x per extra adult or child you have to manually set the price for each number and combination. The formatting: Each item has a class associated, but this isn´t documented so making anything even remotely presentable requires a lot of work.The booking process: Quite simply, it's really clunky. Nothing works quite as well as it could or should.Customer support: I´m not sure if support is provided by non-native English speakers or if they are just not very smart. I found dealing with support rather like arguing with a 4-year-old. The would quote a number of facts, but never actually relate that to my questions.Overall, just don´t waste your money, you are unlikely to implement something you are happy with.

Pros:

The price - but given that I am discarding it after a couple of days, that's hardly a great selling point.

Cons:

Just about everything. It simply has a lot of reviews and some nice demo sites. Beyond that, it is a pain to setup, no where near as flexible and functional as the documentation tries to make you believe.

Motopress hotel plugin

Comments: Excellent. It's never easy to integrate new and comprehensive software but the support given has been outstanding.

Pros:

Very responsive and helpful support. It can't be easy to answer the huge number of requests.

Cons:

Styling and customising of theme pages and accommodation elements.

Great Website Booking Software!

Comments: The overall experience has been great. I had some questions upon setting the plugin up and linking our calendar to other booking sites. Got support responses quickly, and got me on my way in no time. The plugin is easy to work with, straight forward, and can be adapted to any use or accommodation(s).

Pros:

We already had our website designed and setup using Wordpress, the ability to just add this plugin, change a few things to our unique accommodations, match the design and we were on our way. Was easy to get setup and online.

Cons:

The only thing I like the least of the plugin is how to organize past, present, abandoned bookings from your main list. If that was modified to allow better 'default' filtering, to see upcoming bookings without having to resort then by date. It would be golden, just an extra few clicks, but it would help.

MotoPress - Could be a great fit. Do your research on their forums first.

Comments: Overall, it has been a good experience. There were some features that we thought were included that were not like the ability to bill a percentage of the price to reserve a room and send an automatic follow-up email to collect the remainder of the bill before the reservation date. They do have some follow-up email options, but not that one. There are also some challenges with including extra services specific to children and adults. My advice is to do your research on their forum before you purchase and confirm that all of the features you will need are present. Do not make any assumptions!

Pros:

It does exactly what we needed--allows online booking for a small inn with several seasons and pricing structures, sends confirmation emails, and syncs with the inn's VRBO calendar so that the calendars on the website and on VRBO are accurate in real time. They have an online forum that is quite extensive so that many questions or snags could be resolved without creating a support ticket.

Cons:

When you do need to create a support ticket, you will wait a long time for a response. They will help you solve your problem, but it will probably take a week.

Great solution for short-term vacations management

Excellent plugin (Hotel Pro) Perfect for all WordPress sites

Comments: Makes any size hotel website booking look professional. The large booking company's had the monoply for many years. With this plugin I can setup my own booking system. Thank you MotoPress.

Pros:

Works fast and easy to use. I no longer have to put my small hotel on AirBnB . I can setup my own fees.

Cons:

The subscription. I prefer onetime buy.

Note: iCal syncing in Motopress is only one way. It downloads my channel manager bookings iCal however if there is a cancelation or change it does not update this in Motopress. After first asking the sales team my question about their product features I was advised to contact technical support. I raised a support ticket to ask about bookings that had been cancelled but not updated in Motopress and they advised "we are unable to help you without extended support". So I bought it and was then immediately information "we don't support cancellations and you'll need to cancel it manually within Motopress". All they needed to do was provide me with information about their product features. They also need a better sync that can handle cancelations/changes. Other notes: the iCal sync is MINIMAL and won't import any booking information (names, emails etc) even if it is provided by the channel manager. It assigns a booking number that has no relation to my channel manager so it's a pain to reconcile if I do need to cancel them. Be careful, and make sure you don't buy their support service without first asking if the problem you have can actually be resolved.

Great theme for a hotel website

Comments: Perfect ! I wish it was like that for every services on our everyday basis.

Pros:

I really like how everything was well thought, there is nothing missing. I purchased somewhere else a hotel theme but I was not satisfied. Many things were missing. Luckily I came across MotoPress themes and plugins. I purchased 1 theme and now I have the bundle which include everything on their website.Regarding the plugins and themes, there are a lot of choice of themes and useful plugin to grow the business. The customer service is on point, the chat system on their website is very convenient for a quick question. They help to fix small issues within a few minutes. I really love motopress and I wish them the best because they deserve it.

Cons:

Honestly, nothing. Everything is really great.

Out of date toutorials

Comments: Everytime I need to fix or tweek something under the hood in MotoPress pluggins > If I don't remember how to do it. I must rely on 4-5 years old tourtorials by [sensitive content hidden]. She is full of knownlege but since MotoPress has had a few upgrades in the last few years. I would expect newer toutorials as well. I would like to see a PDF with instructions.

Good product until there's a booking cancellation

Comments: At first good until I realized it wouldn't update any cancelled bookings from booking.com

Pros:

Easy to upload and navigate. Presented well to work with my website

Cons:

Essential to update bookings taken from external booking websites. However, fails to update cancellations from booking.com leaving my own website in turmoil. Everything cancelled from booking.com needs to be deleted manually on motopress which is painfully time consuming and leads to errors. It got so bad, leading to double bookings , that I have had to sign up with a booking management company although I'm just a small operation.

This plug in its full of erros

Comments: Terrible a whole week with support getting know where

Its very old plug in full of errors, You need to put so much css codes to try and make it work

Regret Buying This -- Invested so much time & money and it's still not right

Comments: Overall, this has been a HUGE disappointment. It's just not logical in how it's set up to run. Overly complicated in how to find things --- like reservations. Won't allow me to set up a way to review a reservation and then accept it --- their only option is to accept a reservation and confirm immediately.

Pros:

It had the potential to save us a lot of work, but there are major problems in how it's designed.

Cons:

Not being able to see the price breakdown BEFORE requesting a reservation is our biggest complaint, and because of this, it is going to lose us bookings. Simple remedy is to put a "Price Breakdown" button, but they don't have one so we cannot do it. No-one is going to book a vacation rental without knowing the price --- it's insane!

Lots of Power in a small plugin

Comments: This is one of the easiest well set up plugins I've used. Its solid built, quick on loadtime and after the learning curve easy to navigate and change. I hope motopress continues to develop plugins! I really enjoyed working with it and the support staff. It is a quality product. Side note, please consider making a scheduling plugin for classes like at a Gym. We had need of something recently and the market just doesn't have anything that is both reasonably priced or user friendly. ;)

Pros:

I LOVE how versatile the product is. Having the ability to customize something that was built for a hotel for a single home rental made it high on the list during my original search. Plus how easily it integrated with the Divi theme. Customer support was fantastic, I had questions and they responded quickly and with actual help, not just 'its your theme that is the problem' that I have heard from many other developers. It is definitely one of the easiest plugins i've had to learn how to use after I got over the initial learning curve. It's really user friendly, i can tell a lot of work went into the backend to make it easy to navigate. Top notch work.

Cons:

I am a very visual learner, while the videos were super comprehensive and well covered, however there was something about the audio recording was difficult to understand. I don't believe this was any fault of the speaker, I think it was just a bad mic that recorded poorly and about it that made it concentrate on the content. Adding subtitles so people could watch without sound might help. Or just update the voice over with better sound quality. While it plays well with divi, i did struggle in the initial set up because I had to customize the shortcodes often for it to display exactly how I wanted ad that kinda makes the whole divi extension purposeless. While it is made for a much bigger hotel set up downsizing had a bit more of a learning curve for me. I didn't need all the pages for searching, just basically a 'select your available day and straight to booking. I didn't feel like this was as covered as well (it was covered, just a little briefly) the plethora of other information about this plugin that is provided.

Bad Company

Comments: Terrible.

Pros:

It seemed to have the features that I needed. It was relatively easy to install and set up. It did take a long time, but that's to be expected.

Cons:

The plugin didn't work well with my theme. I asked support in advance if I could return if this was the case and they said 'yes'. When I tried to return I got the runaround even after providing a copy of my chat transcript.

Comments: At this stage I´m pretty experienced since I work with Motopress Hotel Booking everyday.

Pros:

I like the support. They answer in 1-2 days which is okey by my standards.

Cons:

This software is mainly made for the US market. They have pretty low knowledge of the European market and a fairly basic update necessary for the European market took them two years to implement.

Bad service

Comments: Just bad. They are pointing fingers to another department but I don't care which departmant should solve it..

Pros:

I created the website with the lite version and I bought the premium tool but it doesn't work at all. I contacted them via their page and that is only for sales related questions, support you need to email and took two days to get a reply. Today I replied and expect again two days waiting.. Wanted to install this with more clients, but I am thinking of researching another tool. Taking to the Sales manager [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], and she replies I am a sales manager, not support or customer care and that she can make a ticket for me… Well, let's see how long it takes before it is solved!

Cons:

That is doens't work and their service. It takes days before they reply...

Easy implemantation & professional features

Comments: I was able to set up my offer for a house in a few days. I have solved all required features (season rates, calendar, synch. of the calendar with other plattforms, payment like paypal and stripe, pdf-imvoices etc.
But i would recommend to use the motopress-club-offer. for a fixed rate you have access to all required and useful AddIns. And i like to mention the support-team, they helped me in 2-3 tickets to get things to run.

Pros:

We start with a house/accommodation, but the price is fair and reasonable, so with the solution you get good and important features from the first moment to grow/scale.

Cons:

not so good is the hotel-reviews-addin if you work with different language-layers.

Product that is very complete some room for improvement

Comments: All in all I am quite excited about the product. There are tons of options to play around with. Sometimes I run into an impossible thing to do but most of the times there's a workaround for that.
Layout wise I can really make it my own, related to Elementor. There's no need for all Motopress Hotel Booking websites to be the same!

Pros:

Ease of use to get to know the product. Easy integration with the Elementor page builder. All is rather straight forward: no manual necessary.

Cons:

Some options are sometimes very hard to find (illogical positioning in the menu or on screen). The rates can only be connected to a single accommodation type. Only 1 date range possible to be added to a season. If I could add multiple date ranges to a single season, I could enter all rates much faster! Connection with Mailchimp (add-on) is not too stable. Support i referring me to Mailchimp but it's an API error that needs to be fixed.

Problem found and fixed

Comments: Satisfied with the booking plugin as it does what we need it to do. Once you understand the shortcode delivery of the product it is fairly easy to understand.

Pros:

Set up from a child theme purchased so was half done lready.

Cons:

Online support and demo videos difficult to find, support could be the current virus situation on speed of delivery.

Save our client a lot of time using MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin

Pros:

Sync on all major OTA's is the most time saving that this plugin is offered. further more the way it was built is to make all your bookings organized.
