Easy to use and highly customizable LMS

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: In an organization where the employee training process is very significant, it is necessary to have a robust tool that facilitates the planning and execution of staff professional improvement courses. This platform offers a very versatile set of tools.

Pros:

I really like that navigating through its functions is very easy. It allows you to design a personalized, interactive and very flexible learning experience. The tracking of participants' progress is very effective and offers very complete reports that provide detailed information for the improvement of the following courses. The electronic signature helps to confirm the fulfillment of the different training stages that are planned.

Cons:

I would like to see more integration options to strengthen corporate learning paths.

A great platform and an even better implementation team!

5.0 9 months ago

Comments: The LMS is very new to us. We just launched on March 25th, so I can really only speak to the implementation process, which was an amazing experience. Our IPM was absolutely wonderful, I was sad to say goodbye when the implementation was complete!

Pros:

It's pretty intuitive from both a user and admin perspective. It's reliable and has a ton of different reporting capabilities.

Cons:

There are certain aspects of Absorb I wish were more customizable.

Absorb LMS review

3.0 2 years ago

Comments: Development team is making it more flexible by constantly improving and adding features.

Pros:

It's integration with ADP is considered to be essential for our team. It has the flexibility of features and is robust and stable. The intelligence search feature making it possible to search the most accurate courses. Videos are so much informative.

Cons:

It takes more time to configure the setup. The course organization can be done more properly. The modules are needed to be create by our team only to import the data from LMS.

Accounting Manager

4.0 2 months ago

Comments: Good - Training video's are done pretty quickly.

Pros:

You can assign training based on departments. Set deadlines and have a little questionnaire.

Cons:

There should be limitations on how long the training video should be. some divisions put up videos that are over 2 hours long. Absorb should advise that training is absorbs in smaller doses. Documents for the videos should be easily visible as well after the video ends instead of watching the video again and waiting for the steps.

Couldn't be happier with the on-going service we receive from both [sensitive content hidden] and the Absorb team.

Pros:

Cons:

Nothing, everything is suited to our needs at this point.

Absorb LMS for External Trainings

4.0 8 months ago

Comments: Absorb has been an amazing tool for boosting my teams existing online content and I look forward to seeing where this product goes.

Pros:

I really appreciate how closely the CSM worked with my team so we weren't launching this product blindly. They were personable and easy to get in touch with. I'm new to the L&D space and love how simple and straightforward it is to implement interactivity in our content through Absorb Create

Cons:

There's a bit of a learning curve when getting courses set up and optimized in the system. If I wasn't tech savvy I think I would have struggled because of just how much customization there is.

Alternatives Considered: CANVAS, Looop and LinkedIn Learning

Reasons for Switching to Absorb LMS: Most user friendly admin interface Best customizability Most amount of features for the price

Comments: I enjoy Absorb and their commitment to evolving every day. The ideas portal is fantastic and they show what they are working on.

Pros:

It has most features that are out in the LMS world and their customer service is great!

Cons:

The 3rd party content provider integration. It takes too much time to make course edits and syncing is over a week, not instantly.

Alternatives Considered: Docebo

Reasons for Switching to Absorb LMS: Better price and customer service. I felt a connection with our sales person and implementation person.

Absorb Review

5.0 10 months ago

Comments: My overall experience with Absorb LMS has been very positive. I will continue to learn more so that I may maximize the use of more complicated features.

Pros:

Absorb LMS has a user interface that is user friendly, easy to use and manage content. Support website also has an extensive knowledge base with training videos and searchable documents. Support tickets are also handled promptly.

Cons:

Reports and Data Analytics is minimal, unless Data Analytics module is purchased which is expensive.

Absorb LMS Review

5.0 10 months ago

Comments: My overall experience has been great! I would give them a 95 out of 100.

Pros:

The ease of implementation, dedicated customer service representatives, and mid-range cost.

Cons:

I have struggled with the reporting feature, although you can pay extra for custom reports.

Alternatives Considered: Docebo

Reasons for Choosing Absorb LMS: There were too many limitations and there was a fee for any recommendation. Also, the customer service was poor.

Switched From: Crowd Wisdom

Reasons for Switching to Absorb LMS: Docebo was more expensive, and we did not need the additional feature that they offered.

Absorb LMS

4.0 9 months ago

Comments: We have been with Absorb just past implementation and we are pleased with the product. It is easy to learn and manage.

Pros:

The Customer Service for Setup and Implementation was great! The representative was knowledgeable and easy to reach when needed.

Cons:

There are many screens to click in to find what you need to set up a class. Once you learn all the little places to put things, it is not difficult.

eLearn Anywhere

5.0 last year

Comments: Excellent, the technology itself, and set up, software? I couldn't ask for anything better when it comes to progressive learning and excelling within a business.

Pros:

In case you're wondering, the LMS stands for learning management system and this is exactly what it is. I can't tell you how many times I've literally depended on this e-learning software to help jog my business / customer focus point of view. This is a very helpful system, it'sseems almost customized to your cloud-content.

Cons:

I only have one issue with this system, and of course it would be pricing. I'm a small business, and I work alone, so I was lucky to receive the free trial that I did because it cost around $12 to $17 (I believe) per active user to operate the system per month. It's a top of the line piece of software however the pricing, surely there's another way?

A Wonderful Learner Experience!

5.0 9 months ago

Comments: My overall experience surpassed all the expectations I had. May Larkin was our Implementation Project Manager and we felt she was right along side us throughout our entire process. She was quick to reply to emails or jump on a call when we needed assistance. She was patience and had an understanding of our unique platform usage.

Pros:

What I like most about Absorb is how clean and user friendly the learner experience is! Our goal was to minimize manual task for our admin team and provide our learners a more trendy and all-in-one platform to house their learning materials and certificates. Absorb checked off all our requirements, which are unique, and provided us solutions to all our questions.

Cons:

While the Knowledge Articles are helpful and a great tool, they are at times overwhelming because the large number of them can make it hard to locate the exact help you need.

Absorb LMS

4.0 9 months ago

Pros:

The Admin panel is very intuitive for self learning and navigation. The flexibility in the end user view was so configurable that we made this an very easy to use system for our audience.

Cons:

The reporting structure within the Admin panel is extremely rigid. Ultimately, this was not as useful for us and we had to export all of our information out of the system and manage it elsewhere.

NBCU - Technical Operations Absorb Training

Pros:

Helped with course creation, easy enrollment, and helped with our hands-on training teams with managers manually updating certifications.

Cons:

Not able to edit multiple courses for multiple employees. This was helpful for trainers/admins who did hands-on training for employees who were enrolled in the same courses and completed them on the same date.

This is a solid LMS

4.0 9 months ago

Pros:

We now have one complete year of use with Absorb LMS. All of our training cycles have been successful. There were no issues with courses completing. If problems did come up, it was because of access getting into the system (a quirk of our integration), not a technology problem with the LMS itself.

Cons:

Wish the standard version came with more of the advanced features available at the buy-up plan.

Pros:

Absorb's suite of offerings is comprehensive and leaves you wanting for little else. If you can dream it, you can configure and tweak it to exactly your needs. The workflow is so simple and it makes every part of the system accessible to everyone.

Cons:

There are some types of selection options for user configurations that don't exist and we've had to work around to make things work.

Pros:

LMS Focused on Client Satisfaction

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Absorb LMS is exactly what we needed to streamline our training deliver consistently and reliably. Learners love the ease of use and our admins love the reporting. Absorb also offers content integrations which we are utilizing to deliver leadership training.

Pros:

Absorb has such a wonderful client portal to submit feedback. There's an ability to submit feature requests and have other clients talk through the pros/cons and use cases for those items. I've had calls with Absorb developers based on the feedback that I had submitted and those features then went forward into the production environment. It is awesome to see how involved Absorb is in the client community.

Cons:

There are not many features that are problematic. I wish there was a more seamless way to allow a learner to take one course in place of another. If a learner submitted a third party certificate for a course that is equivalent to an in-house course, the admin needs to manually award completion for the in-house course. It isn't exactly clean and can lead to some confusion when auditing learner completions to understand which version was completed vs credited.
