Reviews of Yellow Dog Inventory
YD Review
Comments: YD is helping our company by improving efficiency and streamlining systems. The customer support has been absolutely amazing.
Pros:
Links to POS, and Quickbooks, seamless list-building and it’s easily searchable.
Cons:
I think YD should partner with a POS software platform (or develop one of their own) PRIOR to selling it to clients.
F&B user
Pros:
Developers are approachable when making suggestions or asking for help
Cons:
Not intuitive at times, somewhat clunky interface
Training and Clarity is Best Solution
Pros:
The software is easy to use. The constant upgrade of the software is a plus whereas the company takes into suggestion client feedback and uses it to make the software better.
Cons:
That some of the security features are not all that good. In terms of being able to over receive products into the system and being able to receive without a purchase order. (However, I learnt that this feature can be changed once requested)
Yellow Dog
Pros:
Just eh... It's supposed to be the 'cadillac of inventory software'... I don't get it. It makes things a lot more complex than needed and the implementation team did a very careless job.
Cons:
Probably the price vs what they actually did for the set up. I wish I could go back and never buy it.
