About Auth0
Auth0 makes it easy to manage users' profiles such as auth details, locations, devices & more to create a frictionless experience.
Auth0 Was easy to use & easy to integrate. We have been able to get setup very quickly.
Also, the system management tools can sometimes be a bit of a mess with too many tools because sometimes it is not easy to locate particular settings within the tool.

Secured Auth0
Comments: Customization for the authentication is unique about Auth0. The security feature in Auth0 is top-notch.
Pros:
Auth0 is a great option for those who want a simple and secure way to manage user identities in their apps. It’s easy to use, integrates well with a wide range of services, and has strong security features, making it a great choice.
Cons:
Pricing is high in Auth0. Advanced analytics & reporting could be more seamless.
Simplifying Enterprise Authentication with Auth0 by Okta
Comments: Implementing Auth0 has at a great extent changed our approach to authentication. The solution is user-friendly, and the onboarding process was quicker than our expectation. What has impressed me is the ease of use and robust functionality. Setting up basic configurations is straightforward, yet the platform also offers comprehensive tools for more complex customizations needed in our Company, however this poised a steep learning curve for our developers who had no prior knowledge of this customizations. Generally the experience has been positive.
Pros:
What I like about Auth0 by Okta is how it seamlessly handles access and Identity management. It's scalability which allows easy changes as Organizations needs grow. Its already pre-built MFA (Multi Factor Authentication), Social Login and the flexibility to customize them makes this a robust and secure solution for our Enterprise. It also provides deep insights through detailed logs and dashboards which helps to track users trends.
Cons:
Too Much updates which ends up disrupting the already designed workflows.
Alternatives Considered: LoginRadius
Reasons for Choosing Auth0: A business decision that was made after much review and internalization
Switched From: Firebase
Reasons for Switching to Auth0: Extensive review made by our Security Team and project Team.
Feedback for Auth0
Comments: It fits our needs as an enterprise customer although it can be challenging to work with and we frequently hit limitations. Roll out of new features is very slow and roadmaps are frequently delayed by months to years.
Pros:
Out of the box experience covers most use cases
Cons:
If your needs are different from the out of the box experience you end up fighting against the system a lot of them to achieve basic things. Session management in Auth0 and logging information around that could be improved. New universal login is a step backwards from classic and still only requires very basic customisation.
Auth0 implementation in retail.
Comments: Easy implementation, flexible functionalities and many different options for the user to authenticate.
Pros:
It's very easy to implement. You won't need to change much of your code base.
Cons:
Everything's fine so far, haven't had any major issue.
Alternatives Considered: REL-ID and LexisNexis Newsdesk
Reasons for Switching to Auth0: Ease of implementation and pricing compared to the competitors.
A simple and elegant IAM solution
Comments: It's an elegant solution that is simple and to use in my development side-projects.
Pros:
It's an elegant solution that is simple and to use in my development side-projects.
Cons:
There's nothing I can think of. it's very nice.
Nice tool to make your system secure
Comments: Overall we liked the services provided by auth0 and we definitely recommend this to everyone.
Pros:
Auth0 provides the top notch security layer and reliability on top of your existing workflow and makes it immune to attacks.
Cons:
May be they can reduce their pricing a little bit so that it can become more affordable.
Secure, Scalable Identity Management Solution
Pros:
What I enjoy best about Auth0 is its seamless and safe login experience. It enables simple integration with different applications, customized authentication, and single sign-on (SSO) for a seamless user experience. The UI is easy, and it offers robust security features such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), ensuring both ease and safety.
Cons:
It provides several customization options, but the initial setup and configuration can be time-consuming for people unfamiliar with identity management systems. Furthermore, the pricing structure may not be cost-effective for smaller firms or those with simpler requirements.
Excellent Authentication Product
Comments: Overall, I'm very happy with Auth0. I'm using it for 2 clients at the moment and will recommend it for future clients.
Pros:
I like the ease of use with integration Auth0 with my .NET Core projects. The sample apps are great and make the process easy.
Cons:
I don't like the fact that I have to have a paying account to have separate tenants. I would like to be able to manage multiple clients using the product with one email without the need to have a paid account.
Easy authentication management integration for your SaaS
Pros:
All authentication stuff is managed seamlessly by Auth0 and I only have to worry about source code.
Cons:
I really don't find anything annoying at the moment.
Using Auth0 for authentication in my projects.
Pros:
How easy it is to get started on it. I have worked with python and node js on it so far and it is been really easy to set up.
Cons:
Nothing really, maybe I could find cons as my projects grow.
Auth0 review
Comments: It was quick, all cases we needed to cover was easy to find on the docs
Pros:
Flexibility, set of features, community, documentation
Cons:
Maybe that thing that it was not obvious that plan is shared between all tenants
Auth0 - Great Tool
Comments: Overall The Experience Was Great, Really Easy To Use System
Pros:
Their Whole Login Solution Is Seamless And Extremely Easy To Setup And Integrate.
Cons:
Some Pricing Options Seem A But On The Higher End, Would Like To See A Cheaper Option In The Future.
KILLER PLATFORM
Comments: EASY. SMART. RELIABLE. Outstanding work!
Pros:
GREAAAAAT TEAM! KILLER SOFTWARE. FAST AND EASY.
Cons:
NOTHING. I AM VERY IMPRESSED! OUTSTANDING WORK!
Easy to use authentication
Pros:
Good documentation and very supportive customer support. Fairly easy to integrate into existing projects.
Cons:
Would be nice to have more examples of projects/software that use Auth0.
Solid Authorization Platform
Comments: The Auth0 system has provided our company a solid authorization foundation to build our various external-facing applications. With the variety of Auth0 features, we have been able to integrate an increasing number of applications from companies we have acquired. From web applications to system processes to desktop applications, Auth0 has given us the means to centralize all of our product offerings and provide our customers a consistent unified experience.
Pros:
Administration site is fairly easy to understand. Metadata along with Rules and Hooks allow for flexibility for token generation . Multiple ways to authenticate (internal and external user data sources, SSO, OAuth2.0 workflow support, etc...) The active developer community is helpful to resolve issues, and if we can't find an issue there, the Support staff are very responsive
Cons:
Management of source and deployment of code and configurations across tenants is not very good. Auth0 admin users can have either very limited access or have global access to everything. We would like to have the ability to limit certain functionality to sets of admin users. We were charged for each Machine-To-Machine call (client-credentials workflow), so we needed to be careful how we implemented.
Alternatives Considered: Okta
Auth0 Rocks, big time!
Comments: All in all, I'd say Auth0 has saved us AT LEAST 10 Man Years of development effort (to date) at a cost of a few dozen $ per month. Fantastic ROI.
Pros:
Auth0 is an extraordinarily versatile SaaS. We use it for all our IAM needs across multiple and diverse applications and use cases. We use a whole range of Auth0 features, and have Auth0 integrated with a whole bunch of other 3rd party software solutions that we use. Never seen any problems (suchbas outages etc.), although setting up some features can be complex.
Cons:
I have one small gripe. We use Google as our "Social Login" provider, and use Auth0 Rules to allow only users from authorised domains to authenticate. This works, but not perfectly. Users who authenticate with their personal gmail.com addresses (happens inadvertently all the time when users are logged in to their personal gmail accounts) are blocked by tbe Rules, but don't get a meaningful error message.
Identity Management shortcut
Comments: Overall, easy to use, fast to implement, and great user management dashboard makes it a rather compelling experience.
Pros:
Absolutely love how easy it is to take care of all things identity. It's a real shortcut: they take care of managing users, security, accounts, and more. Saved me a ton of time.
Cons:
Some of the feature implementation code is a bit convoluted, but nothing crazy. Support is available as well, and they know their product well enough to get you through whatever blockers you've got.
A great authentication and authorization management service for any type of product.
Comments: The overall experience with Auth0 has been very satisfied. The integration process was thorough but easy. Customization options are ample.
Pros:
The thing I like the most about Auth0 is the ability to connect any API or application written in . any language or technology to Auth0 with ease.
Cons:
The pricing is very expensive compared to other solutions. Also, the API is changed frequently leading to frequent required code changes.
great if need to connect to lots of apps
Comments: really great -- hard problem to solve - only thing better would be open source or even simpler turnkey add auth;
Pros:
oauth is a *messy space* and auth0 is one of the few startup friendly options around that (a) lets you add other providers and (b) has a pay-as-you SaaS and small biz startup friendly pricing
Cons:
it's a bit complicated to work with and wish someone just had an API that let devs have a standard access model and abstracted away with auth service using
Developers friendly
Comments: I'll keep using in my projects for long time. All plans quota are enough to start for any company.
Pros:
Use theirs code sample in many languages to start a project faster or add to your existing code with a few lines of codes, add credentials and start using it in less than 15 minutes.
Cons:
Sometimes documentation would be hard to understand but when you got it... You got it.
Easy to use, good support
Pros:
Auth0 really provided a boost in development time and was a good solution to our authentication problems, have nice features like great customizability for emails, login pages etc
Cons:
If it is down like recently can affect your business.
Fast and Easy
Comments: I love how easy this app makes it for me to sign into my work UI. Auth0 Guardian requires little from you except for the press of a button to sign in or sometimes, just manually entering the code they show. I have no had any problems with this app. It is secure and works great.
Pros:
Works super fast, with no bugs and very easy to use.
Cons:
nothing, I have no complaints as this works great for me.
Auth0 is great
Comments: Excellent. Would recommend it.
Pros:
+ Developer-friendly + Lot of documentation + Easy integration with other services with SAML and other plugins + Authorization extension is very useful
Cons:
- Support team is very slow - Pricing is not clear for big user base
Alternatives Considered: JumpCloud Directory Platform and Okta
Reasons for Switching to Auth0: Price, documentation
Highly reliable and great support team
Pros:
Product Reliability Feature/Product Documentation Great customer success team Evolving administrative feature capabilities/enhancements
Cons:
Lack of support for Disaster Data Recovery (e.g., Bad code on customer side messing up several thousand Auth0 records)
Robust but not perfect
Comments: We have Zumo tap in to all messaging from Auth0, this helps significantly when troubleshooting and ease our administrative load.
Pros:
Auth0 has been very reliable in term of up time. It is probably one of not many out there can enable SSO between Lithium and Salesforce.
Cons:
External user management has been a challenge especially when it comes to customer user changing their email address, which often breaks the authentication.
