Product Developer filling the needs for big brands

Comments: I love this. I have developed and worked with several PLM systems and this on is so much easier and fluid to support my needs with the different clients.

Pros:

I love the user interface the most. It is so easy to make this program work for me instead of me learning and changing the way i work for it. It's a huge time savings. It supports all the main items I need.

Cons:

I need more ways to clearly display my technical sketches. the team is working on getting full pages set up for the images. I have found work arounds with help from the IT team as they are developing more features.

Great product development tool for freelancers that manage multiple clients!

Comments: I have been successfully using Techpacker for more than four years! It has a nice set of tools essential for product development and fashion supply chain management.

Pros:

As a freelancer, I manage multiple clients daily. Techpacker allows me to conveniently divide all my projects into folders and store all my design assets within them. From sketches and Bill of Materials to correspondence with clients and suppliers. This brought a lot of clarity and efficiency into my workflow! I also love how easily I can generate doc with any piece of information like a Fit Sheet or Lab Dips and share it with vendors.

Cons:

Since it is a cloud-based software you need an active internet connection to access it. It would be great to have it available as a desktop app at some point as well.

good idea unfortunately not executed well

Comments: frusterating. I waited months to see if things would get better before writing this review but unfortunately
it did not. Nice customer service but it doesn't do much when there are so many issues with the program that continually keep occurring and don't get fixed. Please have a functioning program first and then put it out into the market. I

Pros:

seemed to be user friendly and cost effective option for start-ups however with all the bugs and information constantly not saving it doesn't matter if so much stress is caused and time is lost.

Cons:

information constantly deletes, gets reordered, too many bugs and glitches that make it difficult to work efficiently

Techpacker brings ease and organization to my fashion consulting business.

Comments: Wonderful. The team at Techpacker is top notch. They do everything in their power to problem solve and find solutions to any issue. They are very passionate about customer service and the client experience!!

Pros:

I love that I can manage multiple clients within my Techpacker system. The organization of folders and the ability to manage members, allows me to protect each clients privacy and ensure that I'm providing them with above standard tech packs and product development processes.

Cons:

Honestly, the only con about Techpacker is that it has so many wonderful tools, it just takes some time to acclimate to the system in order to continue learning about all the additional benefits and features that are provided to continue improving your processes and the way you are able to utilize the software for efficiency and streamlined product development.

Great "Level-Up" for the Freelancer

Comments: This was a GAME CHANGER! I feel like I'm back in corporate. I feel like a business owner and less like a freelancer every single day!!!

Pros:

Where to begin! My favorite part is how absolutely impressive my tech packs look. My clients are so impressed. I love how easy it is to save libraries and drag images into the tech pack to create cards. Techpacker makes the entire process so fast and seamless!

Cons:

I really wish a demo came with your subscription. Freelancers are scraping together their pennies and there is just not an extra $500 in the bank for a set-up fee. It took a solid 4 months for me to really get moving in techpacker but now that I'm familiar with it I'm going to dive into the measurements section and continue to improve my productivity!

Great for apparel companies that need a central hub for all information

Comments: Very positive- highly recommend- especially if you don’t have the budget for a really $$ system

Pros:

I like how responsive the team is about helping you get the software set up to really function for your company

Cons:

It’s still up and coming so some features are still in development but they are quick to add!

Excellent tool for fashion design students

Pros:

-User centered product: Easy to learn and use. -Data transparency across supply chain through real time update -Time and cost effective: No time is wasted to create forms.

Cons:

There is no feature in Techpacker that I don't like about. It made my job -teaching how to put the tech pack together- easy.

Techpacker Review

Pros:

I like that Techpacker helps keep all our techpacks organized and in one place. I also like some of the convenient tools like annotate which allows me to complete a quick, initial techpack quickly in order tpo share with overseas manufacturers.

Cons:

I find some of the features not as user friendly at times but the customer support is very timely and I have found answers quickly once I reached out to them.

Great product

I feel its easy to use. Customer service is prompt and efficient . I recently lost some of my data and customer service retrieved everything for me.

Cons:

Glitches sometimes. Sometimes when you type real fast, it glitches and cuts you from typing.And the fact that it doesnt accept jpegs. It only accepts screenshots.

Pros:

our company most like database and Report analysis of this software.We also satisfy with import and export of require database from the Techpacker.

Cons:

overall all are okay and doing as latest technology so we so pleased with the techpacker software. If sketching option is available on this software much better for user. And also if A folder inside another folder can be created then much better for us/user,. i.e. A folder of year 2023-, in side can be created all techpacker of year 2023 with many different names, app, fw, acc.. etc.

Great Product Dev. Program at a Great Price!

Pros:

Techpacker is extremely easy to learn and it is a tremendous step up from using Excel for tech packs.

Cons:

Understanding some of the nuances of setting up the FIT or QA SIZE SET sections was time consuming. However, the online tutorials and information on Techpacker site was very helpful and now that we know how to utilize those sections I have nothing to complain about.

A great app for small-medium enterprises on tight budget

Pros:

The ease of getting started on the app without much training. The experience is very intuitive and very visual that makes a designer feel closer to their designs instead of spreadsheets. Whereas the usual technical complexities too like gradings, costing can be easily handled from one page. Seems they have struck the right cords on what fashion creatives want from their PLM.

Cons:

Seems there's a room to grow in terms of overall performance of the app but the good thing is that the company has claimed to fix that in one of their weekly product updates. At the same time since it's a cloud based app, slow or unstable internet on the client side too could be the cause of slow performance of the app.

Using Techpacker

Comments: We can decrease the use of printed documents and expedite communications. Techpacker is a good basic tool and if user´s feedback are considered, with Techpacker we can do much more! Thanks for asking.

Pros:

I can see all the process stages at once, colored dots provide a useful quick status of the process and works fine in laptop and desktop either Microsoft or Mac. Sharing files is easy and pdf files convertion is very useful. Contains the basic for our industry and it is an environmentally friendly tool as it is paperless

Cons:

It is not as fast as I would like to, if I go faster it is possible not to see the last updated info, images or texts. Libraries cannot be pdf converted, have limited capacity, an exceed of cards turns slow their usage, it is not possible to share cards across different kind of libraries. It is not possible to clearly see nor have full access at any kind of movile device. I would like to see more detailed design constructions. Image resolution is poor, it is required more images and segments to explain sketches details and measurements.

TECH PACKER

Pros:

Easy to use. Drag and Drop. Pages Selection.

Cons:

in classic version ,Specs option was better than Current Version.

Excellent resource to improve workflow while maintaining accuracy and consistency

Comments: The software is always improving, and the customer service is exceptional!

Pros:

Templated for ease of use and design, easy to understand and overall layout is clean and clear.

Cons:

Would like a little more customization, but that's because my business is ONLY about tech packs and I cram them full of differing information depending on the circumstances

Techoacker Review

Pros:

The features that improve workflow are the Techpacker Ai extension, the material cards, and the ability to save different versions.

Cons:

The option to remove specific columns/rows in tables is limited, it's also not as seamless. Being able to title all the columns or rows (there are some with titles that cannot be changed). In the tables you can't drag a formula across the other cells like in Excel, you have to edit the formula each time.

User for 6 months

Comments: Overall it is useful, convenience and easy to use .

Pros:

Me and the oversea designers ,that my company working with, can gather the technical information on this platform at once, then it helps us to save time on go back into folders and sending stuffs back and forth.

Cons:

I would like the platform to have a note- taking session that can allow us to type in stuffs freely.

Just starting, but liking it so far

Comments: It's pretty quick to get up and running. We are just starting out, and I'm sure we'll love even more features as we get to them.

Pros:

The layout is clear, appealing, and easy enough to follow. There are enough features to be practical, but not so may that it's overwhelming

Cons:

There are a couple of stumbling blocks in graded spec entry (fractions only in inches/imperial) but I have faith that we are all learning and developing here.

Super Efficient

Comments: This amazing program enlightened our team to help collaborate and arrange the work in order of priority with high efficiency.

Pros:

System itself flows as the business flows, everyone can easily access with no worries of overwriting information.

Cons:

Some of the feature wasn't 100% suits with us. * Such as size set grading specs, but we've figured it out with the Techpacker teams.

All in one App

Comments: Overall really good experience.

Pros:

All detailing in one place and very much easy to use.

Cons:

I like all things about this app as the concern people are very much helpful & cooperative.

Fichas ténicas en 10 minutos.

Comments: Los beneficios que he obtenido es la agilidad y flexibilidad de mis fichas técnicas. Tengo una base de datos de puntadas, acabados, tejidos y otros materiales. 10 minutos es lo que tardo ahora en hacer una ficha técnica. No es magia es Techpacker ;)

Pros:

Lo que más me gusta es que hay bibliotecas de fornituras, de tejidos, etc.. empecé a usar techpacker como early bird y me quedé por su atención al cliente y su gran trabajo de desarrollo. A lo largo de los años han ido cambiando y añadiendo más funciones por lo que han mejorado muchísimo.

Cons:

Pues lo que menos me gusta es que, en los primeros años, se colgaba mucho y había trabajo que no se guardaba. Sin embargo, me atendieron muy bien en atención al cliente y escucharon todas mis sugerencias. Estos "issues" se han solucionado y ahora el programa va muy bien. Quizás hecho en falta algún enlace con un programa de patronaje. Pero, para el precio que tiene, es un programa muy completo.
