Google Duo/ Google Meets

3.0 5 months ago

Comments: It works great just has a few bugs and glitches that google refuses to fix.

Pros:

Free video Calling App that works with email or phone numbers instead of names. Keeps track of calls video or phone calls to repeat numbers.

Cons:

The phone call logs and video calling logs for Google Duo messed up and disappeared when they took over and they (Google) Did nothing about that issue and numerous reports and customer complaints were made about it.

Highly recommend. No longer relying on the competition.

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: Overall; very impressive. Now we don't have to rely on the competition and signing up for paid accounts. Almost every feature Google Meet has can be useful to any business.

Pros:

I liked how easy it was to set up and go. I use it mainly on mobile and it's easy to start a new meeting and send the invite to others. Using it on desktop seems to be easier overall to access features. I like how you can record meetings, change the layout screen share, and even connect to your calendar to schedule important meetings for the future.

Cons:

The captions feature is nice to have but the few times I've tried to use it, i found it wasn't always accurate. This isn't a super important feature for our needs but I could see this being an issue for some other users.

Why you have to use Google meet

5.0 6 months ago

Pros:

What I like most about Google Meet is its seamless integration with other Google services, making it incredibly convenient for users who are already familiar with the Google ecosystem. The intuitive interface, comprehensive meeting management features, and accessibility options also contribute to its appeal. Plus, it's reliable and scalable, accommodating both small team meetings and larger conferences with ease.

Cons:

One drawback of Google Meet is its limited support for certain advanced features compared to other video conferencing platforms. For example, some users may find the lack of virtual backgrounds or interactive features like polls or whiteboards a bit limiting. Additionally, the quality of video and audio can sometimes fluctuate depending on internet connection stability, although this is a common challenge across all video conferencing platforms.

The platform's versatility across devices and operating systems ensures a hassle-free experience.

Pros:

I had a fantastic experience with Google Meet because of it's audio and video quality. We can do meetings with hundreds of participants, and easily present slides and other information during the meeting by selecting the “share screen” button.

Cons:

It can't record meetings in the cloud, which is an extremely useful feature to have. It doesn't have host rights to change the settings of the meetings. White board problem:: we have to use jam board

Invaluable tool for business in today's day and age.

5.0 10 months ago

Comments: Google meet has worked every time I've used it. My coworkers and I use Google meet ubiquitously across all of our 27 locations to communicate and host meetings/presentations. It has been super convenient, super helpful, and we even invite our clients to participate in presentations from manufacturers to educate them on the products we sell.

Pros:

The fact that it came pre installed on all of my devices and is integrated with the rest of my Google apps. Same log in. Seamless.

Cons:

I honestly have no complaints. We use a lot of similar apps at my company but Google meet is the only one that is easily accessible and integrated directly with our Gmail and other Google apps.

User friendly software

4.0 last year

Comments: Overall, Google meet help me a lot, it solves my problem with distant calls because it allows me to do my meeting with my co-workers anytime anywhere, since google meet has instant meetings feature and even planned meetings too.

Pros:

What I like about Google meet is the user interface, it is easy to use, and is not complicated. I also like it's cool features such as Filters with realistic backgrounds, emojis that allows me to express my emotions, creating polls that allows all the participants to participate in making decisions during virtual meetings. Plus, the sharing of screen is very convenient, because it allows all the participants in the meeting to better understand the discussion.

Cons:

One issue I experienced with Google meet is the limit capacity of participants, because when the participants exceeds to 100, other participants who wants to join can no longer join the said meet, which cause some hassle because I hope it can accommodate more than that, or much better is remove the limit of participants.
