I can better visualize the work

Comments: It improved performance and internal communication with the entire team by keeping a work order and precise control of the hours worked

Pros:

Connecteam helps me validate the work that each employee does without having to be next to that person, we can communicate as a more united team in the work chat and be able to keep an improved order of the tasks that are pending to be done. This software helps me maintain a perfect order and a production with better results.

Cons:

Its multiple functions can be a little confusing at the beginning of learning how to use the platform, but it is something that with time you can learn the correct use

Connecteam streamlines your time tracking, and keeps your team connected!

Comments: Overall we are very happy to be using Connecteam and our staff all agree it has made things much easier. From time tracking, to job briefings, milage reports, and gathering documents, there is nothing you cant do on Connecteam!

Pros:

Connecteam's time tracking is amazing! To be able to select from multiple jobs and sub-jobs, add notes, and even attachments such as milage, meals, hotels etc, it keeps our time tracking streamlined and simple. This helps our accounting department to be able to invoice for the exact amount of time spent at each clients facility, and gives a large overview of exactly where and what our staff was doing.

Cons:

Occasionally the app crashes, and it makes it difficult for our staff to sign in/out for the day. It is rare, but when it does happen, it causes a disturbance.

Little Police Department gets a Big help

Comments: The initial implementation was rocky, but as we used it and learned what it was capable of and what features were being added it has become an invaluable tool we use every day.

Pros:

Connecteam was easy to set up and deploy. The changes and improvements that came over the last year and a half or so were timely and (with 1 exception that was only an issue for about a month) improved the value of the program greatly.

Cons:

There is a bit of a learning curve for people who are not used to using an app for scheduling ( I still have officers calling me to make changes on the schedule they have permission to do). There are some training videos now, but initially it was a "learn as you go" program. I still don't know all the uses that the features we pay for can do.

Alternatives Considered: 7shifts, Sling and Homebase

Reasons for Switching to Connecteam: Honestly it was the only app that allowed for a shift to repeat every 32 days (which was the length of the cycle on the 4on/4off-2weeks days/2weeks nights schedule we were using at the time. That function has since been removed, and we needed it for a while, but I was able to use Excel to bridge the gap for a few months until we needed to adapt our schedule due to manpower changes.

A gamechanger for me as a General Manager

Comments: Connecteam has helped with managing our employee work time and scheduling tremendously. I have slowly implemented more and more features to benefit our company as a whole and I have been extremely happy with what I have implemented so far. The customer service has always been outstanding!!! Any time I have a question, they have been ready and willing to help me to the best of their ability. I am never disappointed in their service. Even if my question is not answered exactly as I had hoped, they have always offered solutions. Customer service with Connecteam is TOP NOTCH!

Pros:

Connecteam is helped my company handle employee timesheets. We previously did timesheets by hand and there were multiple human errors. It was very time-consuming for me. Connecteam has significantly increased our efficiency and improved my ability to prioritize other responsibilites. Implementing the application was a challenge only because our staff was resisting the change. Once they understood the ease, we were able to implement easily.

Cons:

There have been some small features that I have desired in my use of this platform, but nothing major. A little more customization with the scheduling would be nice. I have had to find work-arounds to fit our business - but it has worked out. I would like to be able to create a pdf of a schedule before it is published. Again, I have found alternatives to make it work.

Alternatives Considered: Lattice and Swept

Reasons for Choosing Connecteam: Connecteam seemed to fit better with our company and the goals we were looking to accomplish.

Reasons for Switching to Connecteam: Price and features played a role in my decision.

Comments: Very easy to use and set-up. Employees use this platform more than they used CrewApp.

Pros:

I'm able to send the schedule, allow team members to request time off, and clock in with 1 app. We can also stay in touch with announcements from home or the pool deck.

Cons:

The documents and knowledge base area is a little tricky to set-up, but it's super powerful. Once I learned it, it's amazing.

Reasons for Choosing Connecteam: Crew was going up in price. The features were limited, and they did not have a time clock feature.

I Absolutely love Connecteam

Comments: I love Connecteam and their Customer support is fantastic. I brag about them to all my friends and clients. They can't beleive how easy my office runs with this app. I have referred three other people (companies) to connecteam, one of which has already signed up and the other two are busy looking into it at present.

Pros:

It has made my life so much easier. I use the forms feature, times clock and quick tasks. Just love everything about this app. Love the feature of the geo-fence which prohibits personnel from clocking in until they are on site. Saved me alot on overbooked hours. I love the quick tasks that runs my office much smoother than the old fashioned diary.

Cons:

If I must be honest, the only thing that sometimes is irritating is that I am on advanced plan and can use most features, but some features are limited. I can use them but not to their full capacity. I would suggest that if your package allows for eg quick tasks that it allows the full function of quick tasks and not limited use. I have made a suggestion today to the lady that helped me from Connecteam to make it so the person I am assigning a task to cannot delete that task without my approval.

Reasons for Switching to Connecteam: It was so user friendly. It took me two minutes to get hooked.

Comments: Excellent, the support team is always available and can assist me with what I need.I would highly recommend this to any other companies, hence why we agreed to film the advertisement.

Pros:

Accessibility and interface are excellent.This app makes admin side of keeping track of staff hours the easiest I've seen.It is particularly helpful when it comes to employees that work in multiple places/

Cons:

Getting staff used to a new clock in system will always be difficult. Some features I think can be improved on (i.e. accepting multiple shifts at a time in job scheduler, easier schedule making in app)

Comments: Overall I am extremely satisfied with the app. We have been able to transfer several of our processes to the app.

Pros:

The ease of using the time clock has been extremely helpful. We have been transitioning from using Google Sheets for time tracking and paper records for expense reports. The Forms option for digital record keeping has made the expense reports very easy and exceptionally convenient.

Cons:

Automatic break transitions from Paid to unpaid after a time threshold would be great.I have run into issues with the built in camera feature in Forms.Having a way to break out vacation time and Holiday time together into different categories of PTO would be nice.Having a log of changes made to the timesheets for visibility and accountability would be extremely helpful.Setting dates to automatically give paid Holidays would be very convenient.

We would be happy to address some of the things you've mentioned here: (1) In PTO, you can create policy types (i.e. categories) and under each of them you can create as many policies as you need with different names, rules, and assignees. (2) Under each timesheet, there are blue and orange dots that automatically explain what changes or edits have been made in that timesheet, by who, and when. If you refer to a general audit page for all edits in the timesheets, that's a great idea we'll pass forward to the product team. (3) Setting automated dates for holidays is on our roadmap already :) As for the automated transition of breaks and an issue with the camera in Forms - did you contact us regarding these two? Love This Program!

Comments: OUTSTANDING program and service! I highly recommend it.

Pros:

Folks can clock in/out without having to go to the church office to the timeclock. Plus, as a small business, we actually got the service for free (until we go over 10 employees on the clock).

Cons:

I needed to ask for some help in setting some of it up, but my support person was just amazing during our Zoom call!!!

Keep team in a better management

Pros:

Easy operation to manage worker time and schedule for everyone shift. Automating the attendance tracking to prevent mismanagement issues that we had with manual operation.

Cons:

Onboarding is a bit tricky and challenging because the documentation isn't detailed enough.

Best Software

Comments: Customer service in minutes. Always able to trouble shoot and answer my questions real fast. Knowledgable!! Love it!!

Pros:

Super user friendly. Has an immense amount of features compared to other software. I love their attention to detail. They have literally thought of everything!!

Cons:

I have mentioned to some of the staff that I have employees with different job roles that have different pay rates. There is no feature for me to enter the same employee but with a different job role/pay rate. It is only one job so for that one I am unable to use the software. A real shame. Hopefully this will be added soon.

Great Product for Small Biz Owners

Comments: Scheduling and also the chat / picture feature is great!

Pros:

I like that the high level items I need are intuitive to find, and the chat support is amazing.

Cons:

I don't like not knowing the default settings when I signed up (like it defaults to employees accepting or declining shifts ugh). Settings like this are not easy to find, so I have to use the chat support all the time. Also, setting up users and user groups for chats still isn't super clear to me. I don't like being directed to watch a video about it. I have a gazillion other things to do, so I need it to be quick and easy.

It means there's plenty to customize, and each product in the platform has its own stand-alone capabilities. To understand the settings for a specific product, like the schedule, access the schedule's settings menu, where you can tweak it to your liking. Comprehensive and versatile

Comments: We can now keep the team connected and accountable. Staff loves the communication. Admin loves the tools available to manage the Staff tasks and schedules.

Pros:

As new users, we're just learning to implement the features. It is well designed with tremendous support. The team support is incredible. Quick, thorough, & well trained. Kind.

Would like to use more features of the other blocks. Cost is an issue.

Problem Solver!

Pros:

This product was recommended to us by another respected business in our field that uses many features of Connecteams. Since purchasing this product we have continued to see its value and new ways to use it to make us a better functioning team. Team members find it intuitive and our Admin team enjoy having so many functions all in one place.

Cons:

No real cons just wish it would have even more capability options so I need to use less applications when running our small business.

Please place your vote to help push it forward :) Also, did you try to use the custom report option? You can highly adjust the timesheets, which can help with quickly importing them to your payroll software. Give it a go and let us know your thoughts :) Thanks!
