Don't see myself ever going back to Adobe Acrobat

Comments: It sounds corny, but I now look forward to working with PDF files. The software has worked flawlessly. With it, I get my work done quickly and easily. As I said, for some reason, the work (at least, this part of my work) almost seems fun when using PDF-XChange.

Pros:

Like most folks, I frequently need to view PDF files as this is how most documentation is deployed. On top of that, I also need to print out Microsoft Word documents and combine the files together into user manuals, as well as edit them. This software lets me do all of that and more. Even though PDF software might have the features you need, I want them to be intuitive. It's frustrating to spend a lot of time hunting and searching for what you need. PDF-XChange has done a pretty good job making it easy to accomplish what you set out to do. Finally, I guess that I am a "power-user". I get annoyed when I cannot customize the user interface so that just the tools I want are quickly available. For PDF software, this becomes even more important because I want to be able to easily configure the screen layout for reading different types of documents -- and the navigation tools have to be convenient and intuitive as it seems I'm rarely reading sequentially through the pages like a novel. I'm happy to say that PDF-XChange allowed me to customize the user interface with an extremely high degree of flexibility. It seems to let you configure almost anything - but, I didn't find that it was too difficult to figure out. Overall, I can't speak too highly of their software.

Cons:

I'm struggling to find a fault with the software. Thus far, I haven't found a feature that's disappointed me. Oh, I know one, it would be great if they offered a version for the Mac OS!

Besy PDF reader and editor

Comments: I am very comfortable to use the reader due to its functionality. I believe it will keep evolving for days to come.

Pros:

I can do every possible thing I may expect from a PDF editor. For instance, I can edit, change, sign, and convert.

Cons:

It is quite expensive. It needs to add some more features like a tick mark, etc.

Better than some but missing essentials

Comments: Working on a digitizer originally, this was far superior by allowing measurement information to be stored on the plans digitally but it's missing the mark when it comes to compiling total takeoff data. I still use it to measure 1 pagers but there are better software programs out there for larger, more complex jobs for sure.

Pros:

The user interface was very easy on my computer and I was able to measure manually fairly quickly overall. Coming from using a digitizer or the measuring pen, it made a significant difference in gathering and storing takeoff information.

Cons:

There's no way to find the totals of what I measured without an excel sheet full of formulas. It's ok for small jobs but the more complex the sheet, the longer it takes to gather all that information.

pdf Exchange - better than Acrobat?

Comments: I love this software and switched from Acrobat. I found Acrobat had "dumbed down" the interface so much i was continually looking through menus to find a function. Not to mention the outrageous cost of Adobe products in general.

Pros:

It is very powerful and customizable. Improves workflow

Cons:

Some powerful features are hard to find and implement. Also the default setup/ interface didnt suit me but if you go into settings its possible to have it start and operate exactly to your preferences.

Evaluating PDF-Xchange Features

Comments: PDF-XChange is a highly rated and popular PDF management software. It offers a wide range of advanced features including editing, annotating, encrypting and digitally signing PDF documents. Pros:

The most important features of PDF-XChange depend on my needs and goals. Cons:

As mentioned earlier, some areas where PDF-XChange could be improved include integration with other software, real-time collaboration, workflow management, user interface and automation features. However, it is worth noting that the software already offers many advanced PDF management features.I find the user interface of PDF-XChange easy to use,It's important to carefully evaluate your business needs before choosing a PDF management software to ensure it meets your specific needs. However, this integration was easy.

Best for handling massive PDF files

Comments: Basically great experience. It is smart and professional and I don't regret switching.

Pros:

It is always easy to read and edit files on this software. I use it for huge files requiring virtual printing. I can confess that it is the best tool in my list already. The tool is easy to use even for newbies. Annotations is a great feature for me. I find PDF-XChange very appropriate. It is cost effective too.

Cons:

Yet to experience anything negative. It is the best solution for PDF management.

Great Alternative to Adobe Acrobat

Comments: I really like PDF X-Change for everything except making annotations.

Pros:

PDF-XChange provides a wide range of features that work well and can be used instead of Adobe Acrobat. Since switching to PDF-XChange, I have had no need to use Adobe Acrobat.

Cons:

The ability to annotate PDFs could be improved. I use another product (PDF Annotator) for that purpose because it is more flexible and easier to use than PDF X-Change.

Benefits after benefits. No going back.

Comments: Am stuck into using PDF-XChange. Everything about it is likable and productive. I can't stop using it.

Pros:

If you have experienced delays in PDF handling be it creating, editing, annotating and signing of PDF files, then you have not tried PDF-XChange tool. It handles things professionally and the results is presentable. I have enjoyed documents conversion and printing at hand for the longest time now.

Cons:

Don't look for flaws. PDF-XChange is perfect. Nothing is challenging about it. It is the best solution.

Like some other pdf softwares i have already tried, this software is a good pdf reader and convert well documents too. It is same with document signature

Best Value for Powerful PDF Program

Comments: This is the standard program I encourage others to use. My wife is a teacher, and I've shown her how this can help in her classroom. It's a great, solid program.

Pros:

The price-point is good; it's not stupidly expensive. It's crazy easy to use. It does so many of the regular things we need: add, delete, or rearrange pages; add text, notes, highlights, etc.; add stamps to one or all pages; rotate; convert to JPG; extract text; snip image; pixel calculations...

Cons:

It's not free, but then neither are my services.

PDF Xchange

Comments: So easy now to create pdf invoices and general paperwork for my business

Pros:

Was easy to set up and install, need it's features to create pdf invoices and for general paperwork, dose all this and a lot more

Cons:

Was a bit overwhelmed by all its features to start with but did not take long to get used to it and was creating pdf in no time

Digital signature orchestration tool

Comments: Document conversion with this product is excellent. The security features that have been deployed provides secure data exchange infrastructure. PDF-Xchange blocks ransomware attacks preventing data leakages.

Pros:

PDF-Xchange enables us to convert documents and share with our colleagues in preferred formats. The platform sends files faster and conveniently. It has enhanced transparency and with no forgery chances of any data exchange.

Cons:

There is no document challenges that have been experienced since we deployed this product.

Best easy to use pdf reader

Pros:

This is the best pdf reader software. You can do a lot of things. Including converting accross file types. Eg pdf to word. You can also do spelling check on your document. You can edit pdf documents. You can add annotations. You can attach other file types like audio and images.

Cons:

So far I seem to like everything about the software

Better Than Adobe Acrobat (99% of the time)

Comments: It was a replacement for Adobe Acrobat 9 that I previously used. I didn't want to go to the subscription-based software, and I actually ended up LOVING this software much better than I ever did with Acrobat. And that's saying a lot - I was a very brand-loyal Adobe user!

Pros:

The interface is so easy to use - much easier than Acrobat! The menus are more easily customized, and functionality seems much easier to find. The "Add Text" feature is my favorite. It's so much easier to pinpoint exactly where I want to insert the text and then to adjust it to where I want it to be. And it is also easier to adjust the size, typeface, etc. It's so intuitive, and I like the interface better than any of its competitors. Best of all, it was so much more reasonably priced! In my office, three of us have the Tools package and one of us has the PRO package. We use it daily. I use it to prepare annotated reports for clients and redline drawings when we close out construction projects. It's so nice to have easily-manipulated tools! We've also just begun using the batch tools. I am a huge fan of this software!

Cons:

The only thing I don't like about this software is that it does not have the ability to automatically detect fields when creating forms. The Tracker Software team has promised in the forums that it's on their list of things to implement, but has not given a definite date for this to happen. When it does, this software is going to be PERFECT.

Review of PDF X-Changw

Comments: I prefer this pdf viewer and editor over all the others I have tried. The available tools have been very useful for conveying what I need to show on my engineering drawings.

Pros:

Our company has adobe acrobat but I prefer X-Change for all my PDF markups. I can easily add approval stamps, highlight, circle, draw arrows to and do all this with various fonts and colors. The text boxes with arrows are key to me when helping indicate something important and I don't recall seeing this option in Bluebeam or Acrobat.

Cons:

I would like to have the color selection option to remember what I selected from the prior use. Also, when I use the textbox with arrows, the arrow leaders do not easily switch from side of the box the arrow is pointing from.

very good app for pdf reading and editing

Pros:

fast opening pdf files and fast editing pdf's, good ocr scanner, annotation is very good

Cons:

some times ocr make pages corrupted and not like the original, ocr needs more

An excellent solution for PDF viewing and editing

Comments: It is very easy to use and covers more than the minimum functionality of most PDF editors. Good value for money as well.

Pros:

It is light-weight, it has many features that are very useful when you work with pdfs and generally allows you to secure your documents in multiple ways. The editing functionality is very easy to use.

Cons:

The only downside of the program is in the editing function especially with paragraphs that are rearranged after deleting or editing the text. The text does not appear evenly on the page, thus reducing the range of editing allowed.

If you work with PDFs, you need this software

Comments: My team works with many documents and many of them arrive or must be shipped in PDF format. The PDF-XChange family of products is always my first choice when searching, creating, modifying PDFs. No other toolset provides me the range of capabilities at the price of PDF-XChange.

Pros:

The user interface is clean and simple. The range of capability is the best I've seen with any PDF tool, and I've used many. The portable version of PDF-XChange Editor is very, very useful in IT environments that have "approved" PDF solutions that are no-where near as powerful as PDF-XChange.

Cons:

I wish there were Portable versions of all your PDF tools.

Full featured and much cheaper than Adobe Acrobat

Comments: Once you get used to the features you need it is very good value for money

A reliable solution for all your PDF needs

Comments: Overall, PDF Exchange is an easy-to-learn and use tool. It's well suited when your documents have less of text and more visual information. When it comes to text, the built-in OCR editor is not that great but we rarely use this feature.

Pros:

The software features an easy-to-use and intuitive interface. It's also a good value for money compared to similar software.

Cons:

It needs to have the ability to add more customizations like Font sizes. Also, the OCR editor is not that great compared to Adobe which makes editing PDF's little difficult.

My most important Business Tool

Comments: My work involves sending documents to clients, as well as receiving documents. Being able to quickly highlight important sections and fast turn around is critical. I would hate to have to try and find a replacement PDF tool

Pros:

I love the functionality of the program. The ability to easily add text, signatures, and generally make use of PDF files. I use PDF Exchange viewer more than any other program, to view, edit and manage PDF files. I most probably open it 50 -100 times a day. I like the simplicity and speed of use! I have recently started using it to draw plans for my wood work projects.

Cons:

I only use about 10% of its capabilities... But knowing there is a lot more I can do is very daunting :-

A very versatile working tool with necessary functionalities

Comments: It allows to create documents and to modify them without problems, it is very useful to make arrive to all the ricones of our company the guides of production, security and health.

Pros:

I like PDF-XChange is a very versatile working tool with necessary functionalities, it allows me to modify to my taste my PDF documents to make them public, to examine them and to put watermarks on them. It allows me to share documents to my colleagues on standardized procedures and issue intra-company documents, facilitates and accelerates the constant flow of internal information.

Cons:

The truth is that there are no things I don't like about this software, it's fast and efficient.

PDF-Xchange (Tool for Editing PDF)

Comments: Overall, the software really help in presenting mark-ups especially to the Plans in Construction. It is recommended and beyond satisfactory.

Pros:

What I like about the PDF-Xchange is all the mark-up and comments that you can put to your file is present. Especially in Construction services where there are a lot of revision in plans, PDF-Xchange really gets the job done by having the said mark-ups.

Cons:

There are no limitations to the software as it really provides what it entails.

Great PDF Editor

Comments: We have saved so much money when we made the switch from Adobe PDF Writer to PDF XChange. It's a fraction of the cost compared to the licensing we had to pay for Adobe version.

Pros:

We often have to electronically sign, create forms, insert comments, highlight information, etc and it's all available in this program. You can even print to PDF, add, delete, and insert additional pages to your PDF documents!

Cons:

I have absolutely no complaints regarding this software.
