Pros:

Pros:
The SmartDrive video-based telematics system is fully customizable with several camera views, including an in-vehicle view. The in-vehicle view can be turned off for fleets that don't need that, but the added capability to see what a driver was doing can really help exonerate them should an incident happen. The ability to coach drivers with the system's feedback and tips can also help create a better driver culture and help with reward systems. Integrates well with other systems used by fleets. With minimal training, can be installed and maintained by fleets.
Cons:
I do wish the video could be viewed live (video is recorded and viewed after the fact), but some drivers seem to prefer the fact that no one is actually able to watch them.
This dash cam will pay for itself multiple times a year.
Pros:
The biggest pro about smart drive is the "extended recording" function. You can request and view dash cam footage without there being a triggered event. Extremely helpful during investigations.
Cons:
There are limitations to this product. The biggest ones are connectivity and reliability. There have been multiple times that we have been unable to get footage from the time-frames that we need.
